While attending a soccer tournament at the new Zoo City Sportsplex, a group of families needed a place to stop and eat. This was a great find. They were so accommodating and friendly. The staff was friendly. The pizza and strombolis were delish, and they even had gluten free for one of our party. Recommend!
I found Wallflour Bakery through Google. I needed gluten and dairy free items for a party in NC. I live out of state and took a chance on them based on their reviews. The reviews were right. They made a carrot cake not on the menu. I also got blueberry muffins, chocolate chip cookies and some breads and rolls. Everything was very good. Much of it would be hard to distinguish from conventional items. Also, they were responsive to my web-based request. I loved working with them via text to nail down the details. They were willing to deliver 35 miles away for a reasonable fee. Everything arrived nicely boxed. Their prices are on their website. While pricy by conventional standards, the goodies and their service are not at all conventional.
It was a wonderful experience and I'll probably keep overordering the next time I'm in the area because everything is so good. If you have dietary restrictions, or if you just love tasty baked items, please give them a try.
Going back to my childhood roots in my hometown of Asheboro, NC i stopped for lunch with a client. I loved this lunch experience. This is such a cute place. The meal and baked goods were amazing. Everything was super clean. I had to wait in line 30 minutes, but well worth the wait. No reservations. No table holding. After we got inside, I was greeted by the owner, Dusty. What an awesome, kind, loving human! She cared enough to meet me and tell me about the new menu. She was so polite and welcoming. I felt like I was eating at my grandmother's home or best friends home. I had the "That Chicken Sandwich " 🥪 😋!! Amazing. Dusty even brought me the most tasty pickle. Fries were a hit. They sell local honey, pottery and herbal teas. The bakery has some gluten free options and I had the lemon cupcake. Mmm good! I love supporting local non- corporate, family owned businesses. You should too. I highly recommend you try The Table. 😉 you won't be disappointed. Closed Sunday and Mondays. Close daily at 230pm. Get there early to wait in line. You will be glad that you did. Go Enjoy - Dusty and her staff are a first class restaurant. I hope they add a location in Greensboro where I live now! Thanks for the pickle, Dusty...you are a blessing and I can tell that you love doing what you do! Asheboro is thankful to call you home. ❤️. I wish I could give you 10 stars.
We couldn't dine in but the waitress who took our order was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good. I especially enjoyed the bean dip. Lots of gluten-friendly options. Overall, I was pleased.
I love Kickback Jack's. I had a salad and sweet potato fries as my dinner. They were delicious! The house salad has bacon and eggs in it and the raspberry walnut dressing is delicious. I'd give them 5 stars if the chili didn't have gluten in it.
I am from High Poit and was able to find some Protein / gluten free things here whcih tend to be out of stock. I am grateful for this, as I work in Asheboro, and this is a very convenient location. I am grateful places like this exist. If I forget my lunch (like today) I can run here and grab something. I have Celiacs and a soy, allergy/am lactose intolerant. It is always amazing to find a decent selection AND farm fresh eggs for $3.99!
Overall i really enjoyed this place and my meal. We had a new waitress who was quite good despite being her second shift.
I have Celiac and must eat Gluten Free, so I had a chat with the chef prior to ordering. He was very accomodating and prepared a slightly modified menu item that was excellent. Can't recall the exact name but a spicy sauce, Gluten Free pasta with shrimp and oysters, it was really good.
A few of my companions had a more stock sauce with their meals that they weren't happy with.
Finally the GF guy gets a better meal than others.....about time.
Overall i enjoyed my meal.
Great food, options available for vegetarians and gluten free options (Gluten free pizza crust) . Fresh potato chips were a delight, and wide selection of drinks on tap such as bold rock cider!
I only eat vegan and gluten free - lots of options for both .I had roasted asparagus, roasted corn and house salad no croutons.delicious our server was awesome
Awesome place! Relaxed environment. My brother and I stopped for lunch. The staff was super friendly, food was great, and big selection of drinks! They even worked around my gluten allergy (just let them know your restrictions). We’ll be going back!
Got the gluten free pizza and the Oreo papa bites delivered while at a getaway in Asheboro, and oh my God, they were greattttt! The gluten free pizza wasn’t that good the next day but still edible. However, the Oreo bites are to die for, reminds me of state fair fried Oreos but better proportioned.
They are VERY careful and knowledgeable about about what has gluten in it. Very safe place to eat for those with celiac's or gluten intolerance, and the food was delicious! Love their pad Thai and panang curry. The normal dipping sauce for Bangkok rolls has gluten, but they made a special sauce just for folks like me, really appreciate that!
Waitress does not know what a gluten allergy is. Stated why are you eating here then. Never have had problems before here. They need to train their employees how to handle allergies.
Super yummy! Lacking 1 star because there aren't a wide variety of truly healthy side options (southern cooking to the T). I am a vegetarian, and the black bean burger is delicious. If you are truly vegetarian, just ask them to cook it on foil for you. You won't get a crispy exterior, but it won't have touched the same grill the meats are cooked on. The black bean burger isn't vegan (egg is used to bind the ingredients). My gluten free friend loves eating there because he can have a great burger, just gets it without the bun.
I have been a supporter of Sir Pizza since 1972 having grown up in the area, but unfortunately two years ago I was forced to be gluten free. Had lunch today for a gluten free pizza and diet drink, with tip was $20 for lunch.
I will not be back
