Legit reviewing this while still sitting in the restaurant. This is the spot. The food is delicious, it comes out fast- right when it’s made, meaning it is the most fresh and delicious it can be and you don’t have to wait. Fabulous sake options. Clearly marked gluten free menu. Prompt and no nonsense service. Low sensory (quiet music and low lighting) 10/10 get here

There are so many things I love about this place! The atmosphere is so charming with the warm lighting and exposed brick, the service was amazing, and the food was even better than my already high expectations!
Wait - we had reservations and were sat at our assigned time.
Service - our wait staff was kind enough to mark off the items from the menu my gluten free family member couldn’t eat. Then they made recommendations based on what we shared about our likes.
Food - sooo delicious, I really felt spoiled. I ate the grilled prawns and a vanilla bean tres leches cake for dessert. Everyone in my family loved their food and there was plenty to share with everyone.
First time eating here and I didn’t know it is eaten with your hands but I guess that is an experience in itself. I ordered the potatoes and green beans with carrots “Atakilt Alicha,” green salad, and sautéed beef tips with veggies “Alicha tibs.” Yummy food. I will try a little more spicy next time but she was great. Plus the bread is gluten free if you like bread.
Used to be a favorite, but had to abandon them entirely a few years ago after they switched to adding gluten to their fries. Unsafe for the celiac folks in the family and honestly just seems like an unnecessary additive.
