I wish I had known that their gluten free options were not the same as their on the menu options. I had heard the restaurant had a separate frier for gluten free orders and was so excited to try a new seafood spot, however the fried cod reuben I received was a cold batterless cod salad. The tarter sauce was more like a thin mayonnaise which soaked through the bread making it impossible to take out of the container. Beautiful establishment and friendly staff, but misleading info online led to an overall unpleasant experience.
We had a delicious dinner at Leo’s this evening. The veal parm was off the charts, and the gluten free pizza was the best I’ve ever had. Wine, service, quality of food and ambiance will have us coming back soon.

On September 1, 2024 we hosted a Celebration of Life at The Beach House for an amazing friend who passed away. She wanted a "party" on the water and didn't want everyone to be sad and crying. Even though it was a difficult event, the manager, Eric, was outstanding in helping us plan and implement a perfect day for all of us to be together, share memories and remember our friend. Eric planned for us to have two rooms, including the indoor bar, where people could be together to share stories, hug each other and enjoy some delicious food and beverages. Eric helped us plan finger foods and went out of his way to make to be sure we had gluten free options. He was very accommodating in letting us choose what would work best for our people. The food was served in both rooms and there was plenty of variety: shrimp, meatballs, flatbread pizzas, chicken, burger sliders, chocolate chip cookies and brownies. Everyone loved the food and commented on how delicious everything was. We were also allowed to pack up any food that was served and not eaten to take home with us. The service was top notch, we had two fabulous servers and two wonderful bartenders who were very kind, caring and respectful the entire time we were there. Eric was more than attentive to us and helped us set up a monitor for a slide show and videos. He helped us move table and chairs to meet our needs. We would highly recommend this restaurant for any event and/or dinner out. The setting is beautiful and the staff is amazing. Thank you Eric, the servers and the bartenders for making this event successful and for being so kind and considerate.
Julia C was fantastic. She was super helpful with the menu as my partner has a gluten allergy, and was very accommodating of us having our dog with us outside. The food was delicious, we look forward to eating here again!
This restaurant is truly a gem of an establishment! The food was breathtakingly delicious and the staff were so friendly. Our family opted to have a milestone birthday gathering at Roberto’s and we are still getting rave reviews from everyone who attended. The owner, Paul was a godsend, as he helped us every step of the way—from finalizing our menu (even options for our kids and gluten free attendees!) to ensure that the dinner festivities went off without a hitch. An added bonus was how kind and professional Paul and his staff were when we needed to make last minute changes with set up and decorations. My husband and I can’t wait to go back to the restaurant on a date night for a cocktail and yummy chicken parmigiana. If you’re looking for great ambience, amazing food, and awesome customer service, head straight to Roberto’s. You won’t be disappointed!
It’s a small cute restaurant in Bristol and I was delighted on how flavorful the food was. The food is mostly gluten free friendly without sacrificing any of its flavor. I am so happy that I got to try this little Gem of a restaurant.
Good size portions, with an Indian flair. They are very accommodating with switching the sides. The vegies were a little oily, and the fish had a heavy dose of pepper. They were able to meet our needs for gluten-free options, but we needed to ask about each dish as the menu didn't mention it. The sauces on the swordfish and tandoori chicken were very flavorful. Service was great.
One of my favorite past times was getting drunken Ramen at 2am after a night of drinking in Japan. After learning gluten was a no go for me, I didn't think I would get to enjoy the experience again...
Flash forward to Sakuratani, I was able to start the experience off right with a Scorpion bowl (admittedly not an authentic Japanese ramen experience, but a good one nonetheless [self imposed - they had a decent selection of sake, beer, and sochu]), only to be followed with a delicious bowl of a gluten free chicken ramen broth with rice noodles that was as good as I remember the original. Sure it was 20 years ago that I was in Japan, and sure I never had Ramen with fried chicken in it, and no I don’t know the quality of their actual glutenous ramen noodles, but man was this delicious for someone who doesn't eat gluten. Umaii (delicious) broth, slurpable noodles, tasty flavor options (garlic and spicy) on top of the 3 or 4 gluten free broths, and I'm already ready to go back again despite just getting home. I had the gluten free chicken ramen, which had a great chicken flavor, with underlying hints of sesame and umame.
Price was super reasonable for New England: we got 2 bowls of Ramen, a scorpion bowl, and a mochi dessert, and it was under $80 with a 20% tip, which I would find normally myself paying $120 at any other sit down place. We both were stuffed and very happy with our meals.
Service was efficient, despite not everyone being familiar with gochisousamadeshita and me getting a scolding from my spouse leaving the place buzzed from the scorpion with no response from staff.
100% will be there again. Hoping I hear irashaimase when I do. But not caring if I don't because it was so damn good.

I stopped here with a friend on our way to visit Blithewood estate. Not going to lie, it was the fact that they are Portuguese owned that caught my attention. But it was the carefully marked menu showing gluten free options and the freshly prepared coffee and salad that made me love this place.
They had lots to choose from and many items were unique. The staff was super friendly. Appropriate for all ages. Fair prices given the quality. And they are LGBTQ friendly. Check them out. If you’re new to Bristol, this is a beautiful town with lots to see and do.
A great go too local restaurant! Offered gluten free options which is big die our family! I’ve had the fried cod fish sandwich- very fresh . Reasonably priced and restaurant is clean
Went here for an easy but delicious birthday dinner. No dish was a miss and the oysters were super fresh! The clam chowder was especially light and flavorful AND gluten free
Great local bakery ideal for our family who have gluten free and vegan dietary requirements.
Sandwiches, cakes and cookies with gluten free options. All freshly made on site.
Highly recommended.
We were visiting relatives in Bristol RI, and decided to stop for breakfast on the way home. Destiny's Diner was the first search result, the menu looked good so we stopped in. What we found was great, friendly service, excellent food, and a laid back atmosphere. I was delighted to see Portuguese items on the menu such as linguica, Portuguese rolls, and sweet bread. When we return, we know where to get breakfast. I ordered the Portuguese breakfast sandwich and my wife got a sandwich with no bread (she's gluten-free) eggs, spinach, caramelized onions and goat cheese. We both ordered crispy hash browns.
