Grass-fed beef, hand cut fries and gluten free buns!! Need I say more? Love this place and I don't eat out at many restaurants. Affordable, delicious and quick. I usually get my order to go and park at 2nd beach and watch the surfers and people walking the beach.

Cozy & friendly eatery w great service. Kitchen can accommodate gluten free. Highly recommend the delicious Greek & Beet salads. Long list of entrees. Classic faves as well as unexpected dishes. Chicken entrees - parmagiana, marsala, and one w a spiced cream sauce served over biscuits all very good. Patio dining first come first serve. Some may find indoor seating too close for comfort when crowded. Restaurant fills quickly & remains busy. Recommend arriving early. Restaurant opens 4:30.

Went to Johnny’s on our first night in Middleton. The restaurant was almost empty and we were seated promptly. I am just starting my gluten-free journey (as recommended by my doctor) and asked about gluten-free options. The waitresses response was to let her know what to remove from the dish and she’d let the chef know. Not at all confidence inspiring but due to the late hour (9pm) and just starting my new diet, we decided to dine there regardless. The food was relatively inexpensive and delicious. My husband enjoyed scallops and risotto. I had the filet prepared medium. They did a great job of cooking to the correct temperature and everything was great except for the gravy the poured over the steak (completely unnecessary). Service was meh. The waitress went between overly friendly to ignoring us at times. Overall, it was a good meal, in a pretty nice place.

My daughter, her friend, and I enjoyed lunch here a few days ago. Two of the three of us are seriously gluten-free diners. The staff took good care of the orders to avoid any gluten ingredients or any cross contamination. The Find Me Gluten Free site says they have a gluten free menu. I suppose they do, but it's not printed or posted. You have to ask what you can safely eat if you are a GF diner. The answer is "nearly everything". One of us had beef shawarma, one had chicken shawarma, and the third had chicken fingers and fries. (You can take a person to a Middle Eastern restaurant but you cannot prevent him/her from eating Chicken Fingers. (Sigh.)) The bill was reasonable (about $10/person), and the food was very tasty. The portions are BIG; I couldn't even finish mine. All in all I enjoyed my visit very much and look forward to visiting again when I am in the area.

My wife and I came to eat in and got pizzas with 2 friends who had been here before after visiting Brenton point state park. I must say all 4 of us loved the dough. Thin yet very chewy and delicious. Sause was excellent and my wife was pleased that they had gluten free pizza. This is a great pizza place.
