I absolutely love Local Foods, and I also want to shout out January who works with catering orders. I recently placed an order for light bites for a group of about 100 people, and January and the whole staff were incredible. J went back and forth with me to get the order just perfect, it DID come out perfect, they helped me carry it to my car, it was perfectly on time, I really can't say enough about it. If you need lunches or meals or light bites, you should feel great about ordering from Upper Kirby Local Foods. Also everything was delicious. I got such good feedback at the event, AND gluten-free and vegan people ate their fill. GO JANUARY, GO LOCAL FOODS!!

We held a baby shower at Ouisie’s. The whole experience was perfect!!! From working with the event coordinator planning food, drinks and room layout to the chef for gluten free food to the wait staff who were absolutely amazing and so accommodating, it was all a great, seamless experience. The food was all excellent - we served appetizers and desserts. The totally gluten free cake was awesome.

I'm conflicted with the 3 stars, but we made clear we had a dairy and gluten allergy person. And we worked hard with the waiter to figure out exactly what our person could eat. However, twice, we had to send the food back because they put dairy products in/on it. We finally switched to something different. I'm not impressed that the wait staff didn't know enough about the menu items to not know which menu item has the chicken and cheese already mixed or to remind the chef don't put the dairy based sauce on the food. The food was good. I enjoyed it. And the atmosphere was lovely. The staff were kind and polite and so helpful, they didnt hesitate to switch items for us, but seriously. Know your menu better and know what has dairy in it, please. If we hadn't caught the issue with the 2nd plate before the first bite, we'd have 1 party member having a VERY bad night.

I visited last night and personally ordered the No. 28 pizza (gluten-free), and it was absolutely amazing! The pizza was cooked to perfection, and the combination of prosciutto with truffle cream was simply to die for. The atmosphere of the place was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend everyone to give it a try!

Sushi is AMAZING! We went on a Friday night and service was slightly slow - but to be expected with how many tables the waiter had. They have a gluten friendly menu and gluten-free tamari.
