Seriously cute place for brunch, perfect for a girl’s day out. Food was pretty tasty, atmosphere fun, and served good despite it being so, so busy! Not a lot of options for gluten free folk but that’s nothing new for us! I was able to enjoy my mimosa and find a safe menu item.
Would and will return!
The place was a clean, beautiful reminder of old buildings from the 1800's. The food was delicious & I appreciated the "gluten-free" options. I expected to be waited on by a person, not to have a buffet & having to do my own busing. Other than that minor inconvenience, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. (& the food! )
Great place to hang out with friends! Lots of drink options, I’m gluten free so I appreciate that! They were having g trivia night on Thursday when I was there and it looked/sounded like a lot of fun (I didn’t play). Must be 21 to enter. They have a full vegan menu too! Dogs are allowed on the patio and covered outside area. Great atmosphere. It can be loud so not a place for quiet conversation.
They have delicious gluten free sandwiches! The staff was knowledgeable about gluten free options and took care to avoid cross contamination. Not to mention, Joseph Smith Memorial building is an elegant place to eat lunch.
As always, enjoy my few trips a year to my favorite, been there forever, never change, classic Salt Lake city institution of Hamburger goodness...They never have a problem making any burger a lettuce wrap version for my celiac burger loving heart..unlike other local places that have a near conniption over non bunned burgers, and give you the stink eye or get the hell out look from hell...they never bat on eye, sweat, or take the smile off their faces, EVER...and I appreciate that to the moon and back...

The food was very delicious. Everything was very flavorful. I’ve been here several times for the old chef and now the new chef. I don’t understand why people downgrade this food. If anything I felt there are more gluten free options than before which I appreciate since I’m gluten intolerant. Everything was fresh, the servers we had were very friendly and of course the view was stunning at sunset. I would highly suggest eating here, just make sure to pace yourself since it’s a buffet.
