Over-priced toppings. My wife and I went to AFB specifically for gluten-free and dairy free Flatbread pizza. Unfortunately, they were out of dairy free cheese, so we had to get it without. However, we added toppings such as chicken, Olives, and sun-dried tomatoes. AFB charges $2.50 for each additional topping, so you'd expect the toppings to be generous, right? Nope. The chicken was thinly shredded and sparse. Same for the sun-dried tomatoes. The olive topping probably equated to one or two whole Olives cut up and distributed across the pizza. So we paid almost $8 for maybe $1 worth of toppings. Absurd.
It's a nice diner-type restaurant with some good options for gluten-free vegetarians, and many other choices for folks without dietary restrictions. The servers are very friendly, and there are locally made quilts for sale that were fun to look at while we were eating.
Yummy tacos, quality ingredients, generous amount of cilantro. I appreciate a tasty gluten free alternative. Atmosphere gets 4 stars when outside; inside not so nice. Friendly service.
I wish every food store was like this. The gluten-free section is top notch! The baked goods, of which I never get to enjoy, are so unbelievably good. Thank you so much for not only accommodating to us with dietary restrictions but going above and beyond.
I was elated to find a delicious gluten free treat to enjoy with my chai latte! The lunch menu looked great and the food coming out of the kitchen even better. I’ll be back to try one of their vegetarian options!
Update 7/31 - My sister got a sweet and savory bun for breakfast and loved them both!
I had the Purple (something... I keep thinking it purple passion, but it's not) and it was really really good! Smoked turkey, bacon (a lot!) cheese, avocado, jalapeños, lettuce and tomato, and gluten free bread! Then we took our sandwiches and ate on some boulders overlooking the falls about 50 yards away. It was awesome! The people were nice, laughing a lot and having a good time while making our food, so it was nice to see the people working there were happy too.
GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS!!! The mexican restaurant has gluten free taco shells. This is a great place to have dinner and a movie. There is also a full bar, and one of the movie theaters has a bunch of couches for maximum lounging.
Ideal for celiacs and excellent treatment!
We spent several days having breakfast and one day I had dinner there. It is very welcoming, they are very friendly and professional. The waitress Andrea was really great and recommended me and treated me great. All the waiters were especially careful with me because I have celiac disease. They offered me Gluten Free bread and potatoes free of cross contamination for breakfast. The same for dinner. All the food is very good.
The views on the terrace are beautiful. Everything was more than great and the best thing was the tranquility of having breakfast, lunch or dinner as a celiac.
