Talk about a wonderful place. Originally my first time going to this store was 2 pick up cupcakes that were both gluten and dairy free. I was then told to go in the mornings to see what treats that had out. I have gone twice now and will most certainly be returning. Not only is the treats super delicious (my favorite being the Cinnaminis), but the staff is super friendly and kind. They don’t hesitate to answer your questions and can tell they are putting fourth there best effort into their work. Highly recommend, i’ll be back!
I can't speak highly enough of Brood Restaurant and Bar. Every visit has been an exceptional experience. Brood is 100% gluten free, but surprisingly does not lack in flavor. The seafood, poultry, and salads always leave my stomach feeling pure bliss. I'm also a fan of the focused cocktail list, but am very happy that the bar can crank out just about anything requested. Table service is prompt, friendly, and accurate. Brood is and will forever be me and my dad's birthday splurge!
Has some of the best margarita pizza I’ve ever had. I went here with my family and they said the gluten free pasta was perfectly cooked. Would choose this place over others time and time again.
Really good food and amazing service! Our waitress was exceptionally friendly. The ambiance is nice and even while busy, didn’t feel too loud. They have a large menu with lots of options for everyone. One huge bonus is that you can get gluten free pasta with any of their pasta entrees and they seem very conscientious of gluten allergies.
I got the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp and it was delicious. I appreciate that the entrees come with a salad and breadsticks so you will likely end up with leftovers!
My only complaint is the price - $17 for alfredo with a $5 up charge for shrimp makes for a pricy meal for one person. Regardless, I’d come back here because the food, service, and ambiance were great even if the prices hurt a bit.
Excellent service very friendly I was able to eat a gluten-free muffin with my dinner. Clean bathrooms fast service left with a full tummy . Great view of the mountains
This is a wonderful family friendly restaurant! People who work there are very friendly and kind. I was pleasantly surprised that this restaurant now offers gluten free buns for extra $1.5. Now people with gluten allergies can also enjoy yummy food at Chi-fil-a. Wonderful! I was amazed to see a trash can that opens when it senses you waving a hand. Very cool!
I will continue to dream about this place every time I come here. First of all the stuff is amazing and friendly as somebody who is gluten-free I would never come to a pizza place but when I saw online that they do gluten free arepas I had to try it. Amazing. Loved the beef and chicken salad ones. Super filling. Love the green sauce.
I also tried the ceviche. It was the worst I ever had and for $13 it was a rip off for the quantities. The arepas were good enough to give this 5 stars.
Gluten free food was well marked and amazing!! I ordered chilaquilles which was not on the menu. Dang! It was all so good!! Ginger lime margaritas were the bomb!!

We had a great lunch and Brooke was a wonderful server! I had the Cobb salad and Brooke knew what needed to be modified to keep it gluten free( I'm celiac). The atmosphere was light and we had plenty of time for conversation. We will go back!
Does not take food allergies seriously. Ordered a gluten free wrap with no tomatoes and one regular with tomatoes. One wasn’t labeled and the other was labeled gluten wrap. We assumed gluten meant that one was not gluten free. my brother ate that one and I ate the other. Evidently gluten wrap means gluten free. Their food is delicious but overpriced and service just depends on the day. If you have food allergies make sure you get what you asked for and it is clearly labeled. Save yourself a stomach ache.
Such a fun and tasty gem in Salem. Their mochi doughnuts are great and they do not have gluten ingredients! The fresh gelato is amazing!! If you are in Roanoke area it is worth the stop! (Owner understands gluten free and will be honest about possible cross contamination )
Always wonderful! They have really wonderful clean eating and gluten-free options for thise of us with temperamental tummies! The staff do a fibe job with smiles!
Best Gluten Free pizza I have had in Virginia!! The new owners have really cleaned up the place, PTL. Our pizza's were absolutely delicious! My spouse got the meat lovers pizza (it was packed with meat, plus nice and thick, just like he loves it) My GF cheese pizza was soooo amazing, I ate the entire thing!! We can't wait to come back to try some more goodies!!! Thanks Daniel!!!
Portions are huge (straw for proportions). It was good, nothing memorable. They have plenty of space, and tables for big groups. The services was fast. There are a small parking lot on their side. No gluten free options
I was ecstatic to find that they offer gluten free buns here, although it wasn’t on the menu. It completely changed the way I viewed the menu! I mentioned I have celiac and my server was very knowledgeable to my needs. Not a dedicated fryer, so I skipped the potatoes and subbed with fruit. Super tasty food, fantastic service and a wonderful atmosphere. I will certainly be recommending!
Great ice cream desserts. Can be heavily customized to accommodate allergies, and dietary restrictions. I got a gluten free and low sugar dessert that was really tasty.
Our server was super sweet and accommodating. The menu has gluten-free items marked, which was a plus for me, and the music bingo was a blast. I don't drink so I just ordered a tonic water with a splash of cran and the server was kind enough to go pour it herself, to make sure that there was no alcohol in it. She really went above and beyond for all of us.
I couldn't have it, but the rest of the party had the fish and chip special and raved about it. I had the barbecue nachos. They were delicious and I didn't have any issues after.
