Great place, wonderful staff and a quaint environment. Plus, they know their stuff about gluten and cross contamination for those of us who are celiac or intolerant. It's always a pleasure. Make sure to mention "Pineapple Shirts" to the owner!

This was a great spot for a burger and a beer/cider after wandering around Langley. The atmosphere was laid back and felt very relaxed. The outdoor seating was great. They also had gluten free buns and a great rotating cider option.

HEADS UP: Their gluten-free fryer may or may not be available. The last time I was there (May), the gluten-free fryer was back. The few times I stopped by in March & April (2023), they only had one fryer, and it was being used to cook glutinous items. When this is the case, they're still able to cook you up a super yummy gluten-free burger but without the fries. Whidbey has very few places that truly cater to Celiacs, and this is one of those places. Lots of places offer gluten-free buns, but these guys have a separate gluten-free, dedicated fryer, making their yummy fries an option, too. They also have no problem bagging the gluten-free combo separately to avoid cross-contamination. This is our go-to place for gluten-free burgers and fries on the island.
