Food was amazing!!!! Drinks too. The amount of food you get is good. They also have gluten friendly options. They were short staffed so it took a bit to get our food. They did keep checking wirh us
I love that there is an all vegan restaurant in Stevens Point. Their menu indicates gluten free, nut free, and soy free also. Very well decorated. There is a rack of games to play. My son and I had so much fun and enjoyed our food. A sign on the door said the restaurant is for sale.
The food was amazing!!!! Loved the Avacado toast! The staff was so kind, friendly, & very helpful! We sat by the fireplace! Always love a restaurant that is warm and inviting! Some places are so cold u have to wear your coat while u eat! Love that they offer gluten free! Forgot to ask if they had plant based butter.😁 We loved it at The Wooden Chair! ❤️
Gluten free snacks were absolutely delicious! Perfect place to grab coffee (which was amazing) for myself, and gluten-free food for my daughter with celiac! And the service was top notch! Definitely recommend
I have a gluten restriction and they accommodate very well compared to other sushi restaurants. Didn’t get a stomach ache at all very delicious sushi I got the spicy shrimp gf and Boston roll gf 🍣🍱
While visiting Stevens Point last month I had the pleasure of stopping in at Rose House Cafe. I had a delicious and refreshing hibiscus tea, while my daughter had an iced espresso made by a fellow Ohioan(?). I only wish we had not eaten right before, as they had gluten free options which looked appetizing; next time!
They have the best Gluten Free sandwiches. My husband & I always make a point to stop if we are near one when traveling. The Jamaican Jerk is one of our favorites.
Had the smoked salmon avocado toast w an egg on top. Good sized portion and tasty. My wife picked this spot because they also have gluten free options.

If you are a pasta/noodle lover, this is the place for you. They have a menu full of options, even gluten free and zucchini noodles are available.
The food was out extremely quick and great. They have very friendly staff. The dining area is decent. I would recommend the Japanese Pan Noodles.
This was a wealth of knowledge about the history of beer in Wisconsin, the town of Stevens Point, and beer making. It was fun and informative, but most importantly it was delicious. As a side note, it was great to include the kids—they have a variety of sodas for them too! It was fun for the gluten free crowd with the teas and ciders!
Had the large beef pho. Gluten free and tasty. Fresh veggies and spot on some of the best pho I’ve had. It’s not fancy. It’s exactly as it should be. Lovely service staff.
Bought some veggies in the store for cooking and the cilantro, baby bok Choi and fresh ginger were perfect, they were in bags at time of purchase so couldn’t see what the condition of the vegetables were until I got to the house. I will definitely return when I visit the area again.
Really tastey food and an amazing view from the patio! The patio did not have table service during our visit, which made the patio more pleasant and less crowded - I can afford to walk a few feet to pick up my food. I highly recommend the pizza and the baked cod. They have gluten-free options, but the menu is not well marked, and the staff has little information about the alternative options that are available. Avoid the lemonade.
The Caesar salad was the worst, with soggy, rotting lettuce, and no other side options offered that were gluten-free. Plus, they charged $2,00 for lemon in my water. Waitress did great.
I would come here all the time if they could figure out the gluten free options. I really loved the gluten free slider, but my dad who is a celiac got sick from what he ordered. My family tried it again and they gave me some of their take home so I could try the ribs to see if I liked them. That time we all experienced that not feeling well. The atmosphere is gorgeous and the potential is so there if the gluten free was a for sure thing.
Was able to enjoy my first lunch at Zest recently. The service and environment were great. The food was amazing. Such a unique blend of flavors that were very refreshing. And they have gluten free options which is an added, but necessary bonus for me. Will definitely be back!
Stopped by to catch some playoff hockey, the game happened to be on by the bar, so I was seated there. The bartender, Ashley, was awesome. Very attentive. She kept me supplied with tasty wings and fries throughout the game (even picked out a "i never drink alcohol- what is tasty?" drink for me. Which did, in fact, turn out to be tasty.)
Ended up losing the game (but it's the Blues, so what do you expect..) but the experience was great :)
As a side note, I have to eat gluten free- I ordered the naked wings with honey bbq with fries and didn't have a bad reaction to anything so.. hooray for gluten free options!
I have enjoyed all the meals I ever tried here. I’m so thankful they offer two of my favorite things: the option to go gluten free on most items and a really good coffee menu. I wish our local scene would step up to gluten free options like they do here.
Food is delicious and wine was wonderful! If you are looking for gluten free or vegan, this is not the place for you. Wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Menu of small plates changes so check their Facebook page for daily menu.
