Great cafe, we visited for lunch. Menu as well as cabinet food. Good variety, gluten free catered for. Coffee was excellent. Didn't wait long for food, quite busy too. Friendly staff. Cool furniture from days gone by, newspaper to read if you like mainstream media 🤣. We sat inside but there was also good outside seating and tables as well. Parking was OK even though there was school sports in the field opposit. I'd rate this cafe the best in Paeroa

Dinner was okay. Their pizza sauce is way too sweet for me and I didn't care for it. Glad they had a gluten free crust but it wasn't the best I've had.

Great place for brunch. Gets very busy so would recommend booking! The gingerbread hot chocolate is to die for. They cater very well to gluten and dairy free people such as myself.

We booked a table for 9, for a graduation dinner. Our table was ready on time. We were promptly seated, our drink orders were taken, and any questions answered. Then we were left to browse the menu. Our orders were taken shortly after, pizzas, pasta, and steaks all round (including catering for gluten free). The food arrived quickly given the busy night. The portion sizes were large The temperature was good The quality and taste was great. Despite being incredibly full, some of us opted for dessert, and we weren't disappointed. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and nothing was a bother. Considering there were some fussy eaters at the table, a great night had by everyone. Would recommend, and we'll be back.

A local, love the ethos however twice now have had a GF scone resulting in a gluten reaction. Contamination somewhere in the process? Cannot be contributed to anything else as deliberately tested on the second occasion. Wont risk it again :-(

The Breakfast Burger is delicious! The tasty patty came adorned with hash-brown sticks, on a bun with cheez melted onto it. Menu includes smoothies, milkshakes, housemade ginger ale, hot chocolate; buddha bowl, onion rings, daily soup, breakfast plate and more. Shop shelves have many interesting products and include some good things for travellers, such as peanut-butter sachets, oatmilk powder and containers of pâté and “fish” salad. Lots of sweet things to choose from. Chiller has takeaway sandwich filling, coleslaw, Dunedin-made cheezy spreads, etc. Appetizers and gift boxes available to take away. Spices, soup mixes, fresh bread and ciabatta buns, handmade soaps and many gluten-free items. Cabinet is full of fabulous sandwiches, wraps, savoury piesand many baked treats. I’ve tried the Pinkalicious slice and iced carrot-cake cupcake - both scrumptious. No animal products anywhere in the store. Catering, wholesale and online shop available.

The coffee tasted very good and the service was very friendly. The atmosphere is also very cozy and you can also buy a few small gifts on site. There is also a lot of choice for gluten-free dishes and vegetarian dishes are also available.

We stayed at Kūaotunu Campground to attend a family friend's beach wedding over Waitangi long weekend. At the wedding, Luke's Kitchen catered fresh stone oven pizzas for dinner. They were delicious, one of the best I've tasted and they also catered for special dietary needs e.g. vegetarians and gluten-free options. Throughout that weekend, we noticed long queues of customers lining up along the footpath outside the restaurant. On Sunday, we decided to place a phone order to avoid the need to queue and wait for our dinner. Caitlin was friendly and pleasant over the phone and very hospitable when we arrived to pick up our order, I was impressed by how quickly she managed the iPad to process our order and then split the total cost between the two paying couples. Great customer service, Caitlin. Keep up the brilliant front-of-house work! 🫶👊 A special mention to the gifted Francine, who provided the live music this Sunday afternoon. What a beautiful and angelic voice you have. You had me singing along with your great choice of music 🎶 We picked up our order of fish n chips, mussel pot with garlic bread pizza and several other flavoured pizza's, the Fresh & Spicy, the Triple P and the Antipasto. I highly recommend the stone oven pizza's👌and my family friends thoroughly enjoyed the mussel pot. We took our takeaway dinner across to Kuaotunu Reserve and sat on one of the picnic tables and enjoyed our meal while looking at the breathtaking views of the beach. 🌊🏖 I would suggest phoning ahead and pre-ordering to avoid the long queues as the restaurant and food are so popular based on the number of patrons that dine in and collect their takeaways. We'll return, if we're ever in the area.

Also available gluten free It's good that GF and VG menus are always displayed in NZ. I had honey ginger tea and VG salad. A cafe with a great atmosphere by the sea I was able to talk to my friend fairly slowly.

Wow what a great place! Very clean, relaxing, comfortable booths, great friendly staff, so glad we found it, the gluten free vege pizza is the best I’ve ever had, (and I eat out a lot!) can’t even describe how delicious that was, the gluten free carbonara was amazing also, we will purposefully detour in the future to be able to come to this restaurant again, it is a new fave 🙌

Leeve’s Café is an absolute gem! Their food is to die for – all house-made and packed with flavour. I love that they cater to everyone, with gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options that don’t compromise on taste. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and I especially love being able to bring my dog into the sunny courtyard. Such a great vibe and an even better menu – highly recommend!

A really great cafe! The food was excellent – ​​I was particularly impressed by the large selection of gluten-free and vegetarian options. The rest of the menu also leaves nothing to be desired. The coffee was really tasty. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. I particularly liked how child-, pet- and wheelchair-friendly the café is - everyone really feels welcome here. The ambience is beautifully designed and invites you to linger. Absolutely recommended – I would love to come back!
