Lovely dog friendly place. I'm gluten free and they were very open to adapting their menu to suit me. I had a ploughman replacing the bread with my choice of fries. This is a very rare skill in my opinion, most places cannot cope with adjustments to the menu. They did have GF bread but not noted on the menu.

Had such a disappointing visit this weekend. My daughter is coeliac and has always had gluten free options whenever we have been here so always specifically stop here. They used to have gluten free cones, and also seperate scoops to reduce cross contamination of gluten. Whilst she couldnt have all options which is understandable, she didnt feel excluded completely. When we arrived Saturday we asked for gluten free cone, they said no longer available, so OK we thought she could have ice cream in a tub instead. They said no as they double dip and can't say that it would be gluten free.
Really disappointed so all 4 of us left, went into Tywyn and had gluten free options there instead! Coeliac disease is not a dietary choice, but a medical need and its so disappointing that people cannot wash scoops or try and have some options for coeliacs.
