We recently stayed at Timber Ridge Lodge for a quick family getaway, and it was a fantastic experience—especially thanks to the amazing staff at the waterpark restaurant. With two kids who have food allergies (our daughter is allergic to egg, gluten, and peanuts; our son is allergic to peanuts), dining out is usually stressful. But from the moment I called ahead, Brittany was kind, reassuring, and knowledgeable. She assured me they could accommodate us safely, and during our visit, she and our server went above and beyond to make sure our kids were taken care of.
They clearly explained all the allergy-safe options and double-checked ingredients. Our daughter had pancakes and fruit—she absolutely loved the pancakes (they were super fluffy and gone in minutes!). Our son enjoyed the French toast, and my husband and I had egg breakfasts that were also delicious.
We were so grateful that we asked about the pancake mix, and to our surprise, they gifted us a brand new box to take home. That gesture meant so much to us. We’ll definitely be back—not just for the waterpark fun, but to eat at this restaurant again. Huge thank you to the staff for making our experience safe, welcoming, and memorable!
