Incredibly well-managed and very good service at a locally-owned restaurant that truly knows their stuff with keto, coeliac-safe, low FODMAP and other nutritional needs. Always an absolute party to visit for my coeliac daughter. The staff are very well trained on how to handle a request for coeliac ice cream. They make fantastic gluten free cones, and will specifically go out the back to grab a brand new tub of ice cream with a new scoop. My coeliac daughter turned 7 today and we took her tonight like we do sometimes. I’m so happy that she can feel completely like every other person here with a huge range of flavours available. Her favourite is ambrosia. The staff is always friendly too. If anyone is looking for a great gluten free dessert look no further!

Been going here since it opened and our family loves the food from here. Some of the best Chinese takeaways I've ever had, even catering for dairy & gluten intolerances, and always cooked with the freshest ingredients. Even if you do have to wait during their busy dinner hours, it's totally worth it.

Excellent food and drinks. Nice vibe. Very friendly staff. Food is very healthy, all freshly made and so yummie. They are vegetarian but lots of their dishes are vegan or can be made vegan. As far as I saw there are also many glutenfree options. I hope I can visit again sometime.

Had a great pizza here. Taste was very good and a nice touch to the pepperoni pizza was the parmesan cheese they added. It was nice that allergens could be taken into account, for example they had a gluten-free base, great.

We came for a team dinner. There were 7 of us. We highly rated the organic chicken and short rib. They were just delicious. One of our team members is a celiac and had a reaction from the chicken dish. Although she had specified that she was a celiac at the time of ordering, and asked the server delivering her meal to make sure, she was still "glutened". Unsure what went wrong there, but Giraffe may need to assess their processes when handling gluten.

What a surprising find, only due to a gluten free group. No idea this place existed. Awesome spot and the food was absolutely brilliant. You’d pay twice as much for half the food in the city and not get to look at cute little lambs in the field. The food was 10/10. If you haven’t gone. Go!

Awesome burgers and pizza. All vegan and loads of gluten free options. Be aware the city GK is not like the Ponsonby one as it only has a couple of seats so it's more of a takeaway place but the food is great. 3% credit card fee is ridiculous though.

I really wanted to like my time here. Lovely decor, food taste good, the tofu was blend tho. Especially disappointed by the service. Our order was completely messed up. We didnt order a papaya salad because after asking the waitress she said it wasn't gluten-free but were surprised when it was brought to our table. We insited that we talked about it during the order, and the waitress didn't seem to care or apologize. Fine we kept it. But then, we order 2 bowls of rice and the second one arrived 10 min after both of our curry were empty. The roti bread also came half way through. We ask for adds on tofu in one of curry, it wasn't in. The waitress said I will bring some on side. It never came. She also ask if we were still waiting for spring Rolls, we never asked about spring Rolls. I could go on and on. The order was so messed up it ruin the day, which by the way, was Mothers day and my husband birthday. Yeah !!! They finally gave the salad for free after we decided to leave, and never get 3 of our dishes served by the time all the previous meal where eaten.
