Our server Andrew was very welcoming and kind when we visited during our family vacation. The salads are HUGE and he warned us - so we were able to share as a family of 5. My daughter and I eat gluten free and the pizza was delicious. I felt confident that there was no cross contamination (not a gluten free kitchen). I did not get ill and my daughter said “if this restaurant was near home I would ask to eat there every day.”

Hemingway's has been safe for me to eat at. They have limited (think Well seasoned chicken skewers, lentil soup, and blackened fish of the day) gluten free options, but being Celiac in Melbourne makes any place with quality cuisine a repeat.

I love their vegan fried rice with mushrooms and tofu. The crispy tofu appetizer is yummy too! There are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options.

Lots of gluten free options and staff was very knowledgeable in addition to gluten free items marked on the menu. I have celiac and did not have any issues. Food was delicious, will definitely be back.
