My go-to spot for a special treat when I’m in downtown! The whole experience is delightful. I always try something new and the pecan bun is my latest favorite. Gluten free, vegan, sweet and savory options means there’s something for everyone!
My husband, son and I came here for a birthday dinner and it was absolutely fabulous. I could not be more pleased with the staff and the food. The restaurant itself is beautiful and it is a truly wonderful experience. I really enjoyed being here for my birthday and enjoying this overall with my son and husband and son,They even made sure not to cause contaminate with my gluten and dairy allergies and I really appreciated that kindness.

We live down the street and love walking here for a little treat. They are a non-profit with a wonderful mission to employ adults with acquired brain injuries, helping them to reintegrate within the community.
The triple chocolate cupcakes are THE BEST vegan/gluten free treat I've ever had. We served them at a party recently and nobody even knew they were vegan or gluten free. Guests just kept asking where we got the delicious cupcakes. They make "regular" cupcakes (with egg and gluten) as well, which I've never tried, but my husband adores them. Oh! And this is also a certified kosher bakery - Just in case that's important to you.
I was shocked to see that there weren't 100% 5 stars on this place...! It is our favorite place in town-- for edible! We leave in deep NE Portland and drive all the way out for the goodies.
I am allergic to gluten, soy, and dairy, and not only can I have basically everything in The store, I haven't had anything like it since realizing I had allergies (over a decade ago). Hands down beats Petunia's or G.E.M. or any of the other alternative bakeries.
My partner eats all the things, and still will get a bunch for herself. We had Sinful Confections for our wedding, and no one had any idea it was gluten/soy/dairy free-- and people thought it was amazing!
Anyway, if you haven't tried them-- do it!

We had a 4 course dinner for 3. On the first course I wish there had been more cheese. We ran out quickly for the first course. It was very good(Wisconsin cheese).
The salad was fresh but kind of plain.
We enjoyed the broth and meats.
The dessert was very good. We had the chocolate, caramel and pecans sauce.
The waitress forgot our utensils, so we had to wait to get her attention. But they were great about substituting food items for my sons gluten allergy.
The booth we were seated in , had uncomfortable seats. I felt like I was falling into the seats all night. Maybe invest in new cushions?
But overall a good experience . I’d eat here again.
Phenomenal food and service. All vegan options with consideration for those who need gluten food as well. A perfect place to satisfy that 'diner' itch without the ambient sausage/bacon stank

This place is great. I think if I didn't have to be gluten free it would be amazing. Since I am, I'm saying it was good/great. (Wish they had Tamari!)
Beautiful restaurant interior. I don't love having to stand in line to order as sometimes the lines are really long but maybe it's different now that things are more open post pandemic.
The outdoor booths are cute but I haven't sat in them yet.
Drinks are excellent too!!
some of the nicest people and they actually care about your allergens. my partner prefers gluten free items and the person working the front was always so kind and went to look at their booklet that could confirm to her if the food item was GF.
Food was great, and the place was clean. What more could you want?
Kure offers a variety of downtown vegan and gluten-free options. The staff is consistently friendly, the smoothies are consistently delicious, and their breakfast sandwich is truly impressive!
I drove past this place for months and finally decided to try them after I googled “gluten free Indian food.” This place is so good. We get the buttered chicken and vindaloo lamb every time. We add in sides like algo gobi and kuruma. The portions are enough for two people to eat two full meals twice. It’s so hard to stop eating it because the flavors are amazing. This place is a hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and try them.
Food cart, so outdoor seating only. Vegan awesomeness. Good amount of food. Most menu items can be gluten free or soy free too. Unique style and flavors not found anywhere else.
This was a little hard to find using Google maps, you have to go inside the bancorps building to find it. Everything on the menu is gluten free except the burrito. Everything is vegan. I had the amazbowl for breakfast. It was a perfect departure from the fried food I had been eating in my work trip. The chef also checked on me several times to make sure I didn't need anything. Would definitely go back!
Also, the owner game me a free piece of cheesecake as I was leaving 😁
Cafe Yumm is Yumm!!! Thank you so much for having gluten free and dairy free options and still being delicious. Those wheat free ginger cookies are dangerously tasty, so watch out.
Great family owned restaurant in Portland. The staff is super friendly and the food is great -- especially on a cold evening. They have a decent number of gluten free options too!
The bowls are amazing, all their sauces are gluten free, and they have gluten free krab salad! The dining area is the lobby of the Moxy, and has great atmosphere. So good!
Outstanding. The food, the drinks, the service- all excellent. There are so many great restaurants in Portland, this one stands out. I have celiac, I felt so taken care of. Friends of ours introduced us to Lechon today, we will go back.
