This is the place for quick gluten-free bites in the Quarter. Get the calais. They're crispy, sweet, and messy, the traditionally gluten-free counterparts of the beignets. If you're able to get the chicken and waffles, get it. The waffles are crispy, chicken lightly spicy, and the whole thing is a perfectly balanced sweet-savory delight. Everyone is friendly, food arrives quickly, and there's some local art to peruse during your short wait. And the coffee's good, too. Definitely stop by!
