A friend invited me to check out the newly opened Friendship BBQ, and it turned out to be a really fun spot for skewers. The décor and vibe are cozy—perfect for hanging out and chatting with friends. Of course, we had to get the classics: lamb and beef skewers. Personally, I prefer the beef since the bits of fat give it extra flavor and juiciness. The grilled pork intestine was a pleasant surprise—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and bursting with flavor without any gaminess. Definitely a must-order! We also tried the Friendship Skewer Bucket, which leans a bit sweet in flavor. It came with fish tofu, sausage, wheat gluten, cauliflower, squid, and meat skewers. The cauliflower soaked up all the sauce and was especially delicious. They even had raw beef skewers—my friend wanted to give it a try, and I tasted one too. Surprisingly, the texture was quite acceptable. On the side, we ordered Guo Bao Rou (crispy sweet and sour pork), a Northeast Chinese favorite—super crispy with a perfectly sweet glaze. The oysters with hot spring egg were another highlight: big, tender oysters topped with egg and chives—felt like a real treat. Overall, the whole meal was satisfying and flavorful. Definitely a great spot to enjoy skewers with friends!
