'Anakē's Juice Bar

The best bowl we’ve had during our stay. The service was great and there are other gluten free options in the store as well.

Anake’s is THE place for açaí bowls in Kauai! My friends and I loved our bowls, which were a fresh and energizing start to the day. The juice bar is located inside of a grocery store called Kukuiula Grocery store. We arrived 10 minutes after opening time, and we waited almost an hour to get our bowls because of the line. However, they were well worth the wait! My bowl had a thickly and creamy texture, unlike some other watery bowls I’ve had from other establishments. I ordered the large Sau Sai bowl with açaí, strawberry, banana, blueberries, and almond milk. They were out of gluten free granola and kindly replaced it with extra chia seeds instead. They had plenty of gluten free and vegan options. There are a couple places to sit inside the store, but seating is limited. I recommend taking your bowl to-go and eating outside or in your car.
