We came for the first time in May and were pleasantly surprised! We so enjoyed a date here and I loved that I could get gluten free fried green tomatoes! Since, I’ve come back with three groups and each visit has gotten progressively worse. The fried green tomato appetizer is different every time. One time the tomato rounds were literally the size of a quarter like we got the end piece. My most recent visit was Sunday night for a birthday. Many of us were ordering the chicken and they were “out”. It would’ve been nice to have been told that when we all got menus but she waited until we were all ordering to let us know. I ended up ordering the steak due to no chicken. It came out and I took my first bite. Close to cold, no seasoning, and none of the chimichurri on top that is listened on the menu. The asparagus was cold as were my fries. I salted my steak and then asked for the sauce and poured that on top. “Parmesan garlic fries” sound so well seasoned and crispy and they were the opposite. For a $40 meal it was very very underwhelming and I was sad that my food was so bad on a fun night out. It seems really hit or miss with this place.

Gluten free lemon chicken was amazing! We will be back!

The Lemon Chicken is the best fried chicken I have had since I have been gluten free!
