I recently ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch and was disappointed with the experience. I have a gluten allergy and wasn’t aware that the grilled cheese would be served on a bun instead of traditional gluten-free bread. The sandwich was made with goat cheese, which, in my opinion, didn’t pair well with the bun—it also came out burnt, which made it even less enjoyable.
The tomato soup was overly sweet and unappetizing; I couldn’t finish it. This used to be one of my go-to spots as someone with dietary restrictions, but unfortunately, the quality has really declined. I hope the restaurant takes steps to improve because there are so few places that has gluten-free options.
