I had a romantic dinner on the deck of the 1606 restaurant the other night. It is very European to sit outside even on a cooler night with blankets. I had a shrimp risotto (gluten free) Unfortunately it is only an appetizer size and they couldn’t make it bigger for me to have this as my main course. It tasted heavenly. I ordered a gluten-free burger and Caesar salad after . I was happy they were able accommodate my gluten-free request. They have a good selection of wine to choose from. The view and the atmosphere is absolutely incredible. As they had two functions that night they don’t take reservations. We had about an hour wait to get a table. It is a super fun place to go to. I highly recommend it

Out of the many places we have dined on the North Shore this is by far the best. Best view, best quality food for the price, best service and ambiance. My wife has a severe gluten allergy & our waitress was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The wings, which are gluten free, were delicious. The rest of our order the waitress was careful to label as gluten allergy. We look forward to coming back !
