We stopped into 1750 Taphouse while in the area and were pleasantly surprised. There is a large bar area and a couple smaller seating areas, we were able to get a table right away. They have a good beer list with plenty of options for everyone and some cocktails that sounded tasty. We started with the Truffle Brussels Sprouts and they were delicious. The truffle flavor came through, the parm was a nice touch and the drizzle was delicious. My wife had the Let’s Smash smash burger and although they were thicker than an average smash burger, they were cooked well. She added avocado and a gluten free bun. The burger was huge and she said it was delicious. I had the Fried Chicken sandwich Nashville style. It had a touch of heat, but nothing overwhelming. The chicken was cooked well and the portion was huge. The whiskey pickles and aioli were tasty. The fries that came with both the sandwich and burger were good and seasoned well. Our server was great and had a really good attitude. She was attentive and helpful.

Had dinner here on 6/4/24. I was clear with the waitress I was gluten free due to a serious allergy. She showed that she understood. I asked her if I could order the fried chicken sandwich and onion rings gluten free. She told me, "YES! Not a problem". My food comes out and I ask the waitress who brought it to me if it was in fact gluten free. She assured me it was. I double checked with my waitress and she said yes it is. Well, within an hour, I was severely vomiting. When I eat gluten this is my reaction as my body cannot tolerate or process gluten. I was vomiting for almost two hours. I've called the restaurant several times since, and have left voicemails. No one answers and no one will call me back. It appears this establishment does not take proper care with food allergies, and is not concerned with the well being of their customers.
