17 Restaurant and Sushi Bar

I went with my family, my brother’s family and my parents while on vacation based on a recommendation and 17 did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service was quick - we especially enjoyed the eggplant parm, edamame, banana hammock sushi roll and loaded nachos. But everything we got was great. The part that put our experience over the top was our waitress, Lauren. She was unbelievably nice and professional. When we saw things on Instagram that weren’t on the menu, she immediately knew what we were talking about and got it for us. When our kids wanted kids meals like grilled cheese and a small piece of plain salmon that also were not on the menu, she said no problem and made it happen. She was very knowledgeable about what we’d like - brought me a wine I really enjoyed and though the Ferrero roche cake was gluten free and something else free, she assured us it tasted delicious. She was right! She was quick, accomodating and even brought us a couple treats on the house. I would definitely recommend and go back if we’re ever in the area again!
