Went to 1857 today as a party of 5 adults and 6 children for Sunday lunch. Couldn’t fault it. The staff were really efficient and friendly, accommodating us wanting to eat late and with gluten free options.
The roast dinner was incredible- perfect Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and vegetables. Best roast I’ve had in a restaurant for a long time. Alongside Sunday roast they were serving their full menu. Burgers, halloumi fries, paella, delicious puddings. Really reasonable prices and lovely atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back very soon. Highly recommend! Thank you
