1899 Bar and Grill

Brittany our server was great. I have a gluten allergy so she went to double check before I was ordered. And it was my birthday and she came over with dessert for me and said I double checked to make sure it was gluten free.

Initial Impression: looks very nice and big, essy to find, open during busy seasons, not that crowded. Pros: We found a restaurant Cons: The area outside smells like sulfer, the food is over priced and not good. The selection is minimal. The place is lonely and that must be a sign that its not that great. Overall Experience: We arrived around 8:00ish pm on weekday and we were all very hungry, the other restaurants had a 45min wait and this one had no wait time. The pictures looked ok online. We decided to go because we were visiting the area and this was our last stop. We were greeted and seated, the waitress was very nice, the food was disgusting and over priced. I ordered $13.00 carne asada fries and they were the worst carne asada fries I had ever tried, the carne asada was covered in a creamy buffalo colored sauce that tasted like a combination of curry & mustard... yuck and the fries were not gluten free. My family ordered a steak that waa $27.00 for a tiny 8oz steak and some veggies and the steak was dry and not cooked to our specifications. If your hungry skip this place... you will leave hungry and with a stomach ache.
