21 Thai Restaurant

Had a nice dinner date here before catching a gig at The Bridge Hotel. Nice Thai fusion dishes and my girl is Coeliac but there were still many Gluten Free options. The highlight was the Betal Leaf. A powerful flavour burst. The Massaman was delicious. Highly recommended.

Wow! 21 Thai has really transformed recently! I am so thrilled to have eaten the best Thai meal in years from this restaurant last night. The servings were generous - no skimping on the tofu, which is a big deal for vegetarians. Lovely fat juicy bits of tofu too. The flavours were outstanding. I am gluten intolerant and was able to ask for GF versions of all dishes. All the veg was fresh and crispy. The prices are so affordable, quick service and the staff were lovely. I was even given my take away in a paper bag instead of plastic. I did try 21 Thai in the past and it was ok, just a bit average. When a new menu arrived in my letterbox it seemed the food had changed, perhaps there is a new chef or new management? This will definitely be a regular destination for me. So happy to have genuinely exciting Thai food in the peninsula!
