2N1 Salad Bar and Grill

2N1 Bar & Grill is an unheralded gem. Tucked away behind some trees at the end of a Thrift Store on Braker, this joint offers some seriously tasty food. My wife and I have been four times, and it has never disappointed. The fries are crispy and warm. The burgers are deliciously robust and textured. The salad bar is one of the most visually and palatably appealing I have ever come across. This diner also offers gluten-free and vegan options (I'd recommend the veggie burger with all the toppings). They make a variety of items well: salads, burgers, sandwiches, paninis, pasta, platters. Everything we've tried has been on point. It may not look like much, but pop on into 2N1, and you may find yourself pleasantly surprised.

This place has potential, if you can find it. It's tucked in the corner of the parking lot, to the right of St. Vincent's Thrift Store. No signs. Same concept as Salata. You can order a specialty salad or build your own. They also have some sandwiches. I had the gyro salad. Meat was just those frozen strips. Olives were canned black olives, not Kalamatas. Dressing was tzatziki not a vinaigrette. It tasted fine but missed the mark. They do mark which salad items are gluten free. Always appreciate the effort to accommodate special diets.
