I've had some great beigels in London and in New York, I'm now gluten intolerant which limits what I can have these days but the gluten free bagel I had yesterday, was incredible fluffy and crispy, almost like a croissant, stuffed with filling - it was a delight. I'm salivating writing this, I'd travel across town again to get another one, in fact I'm going to buy a load and keep them in my freezer along with interrogating the lovely owner on how her baking methods!
