This is an amazing restaurant worth checking out! I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to enjoy an affordable and memorable meal. Staff are friendly, willing to take requests, and assist those in need. The restaurant is a reliable choice whether you’re dining solo or with a group. The food is lightly seasoned so make sure to add some salt and pepper to spice the dish up a tiny bit more. This restaurant will have you craving their food again in no time. This restaurant exceeded my expectations and proved me wrong in the best way possible. 54th Street Restaurant & Drafthouse has a comforting atmosphere, a diverse menu, and affordable food. Prices range from soups that are $4.50 to steak and ribs for $28. The establishment includes vegetarian and gluten-free options, offering something for everyone. The menu features a wide variety of dishes from different culinary styles. The location offers a kids’ menu as well as soft and alcoholic drinks that include all age groups. One out of the many dishes I received, the one that stood out to me was the mashed potatoes with white gravy. It is incredibly creamy and immediately melts in your mouth. Another dish I had that surprised me were the “tater kegs.” They are tater tots stuffed with bacon and cheddar with sprinkled chives on top. However, one note I had was that some of the food, for example the chicken wings, weren’t seasoned well, but salt and pepper were provided at every table. Furthermore, 54th Street Restaurant & Drafthouse has interior decor that is appealing and vibrant to look at. The atmosphere feels nostalgic with various 1980s-style mementos such as props and posters that help boost customers’ experience. There are plenty of TV’s around the restaurant, providing entertainment through sports and various news channels. A broad mix of styles and genres of music are always playing in the background–not too quiet, not too loud—there were many popular music picks I enjoyed. The waitress that served my family accommodated service that was fast and reliable. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and guests chattered with friends and family.

We had a big group of 19 people. The wait was shorter than I expected (were separated into 2 tables right next to each other in the middle spot). It was a fantastic choice. I chose this restaurant because they have a gluten free menu (as my son is GF, I looked up the menu online). The waitress was super attentive! The food was amazing! My steak was cooked perfectly, juicy, and very well seasoned so that I didn't feel like I needed steak sauce. I loved the "gringo dip", and the cheesecake was SUPERB!!! They are also well priced. The dinner for 2 for $39 is well worth it. The kids meals are only $6.99 and includes a dessert. So for a family of 4 we spent $80 including tip which included 4 drinks, an appetizer, 4 entrees with sides, and 3 desserts. We are surprised we never went before although we live close by, but we definitely look forward to going again!
