Can't mess up the location, they've still got the lake view so you might just get to eat on the waterfront. And the service seems to strive for friendliness. But other than that, RIP 550 Waterfront. The menu is now overpriced (lake priced) bar food. Wings n pizza.
Got a gluten free pizza (we thought, cool, at least there's an option for ppl with food sensitivities). Paid the upcharge for that, of course. It arrived and was the size of a Celeste frozen pizza. Every other pizza in the place is twice the size (we know cuz we walked around). So, pay more, get about half the regular size, if you're gluten free.
Salad and drinks were average, not bad, not great.
Won't be returning, sad to say, because it was nice to sit on the lake or kayak over. The bar server we dealt with while waiting an hour for a table was nice enough, so it's nothing against the staff, just the food and value for the (increased) price. Oh, and we were on a wait list for an hour, during which time, there was always a table open outside with no one at it.
If you're looking for pizza on the waterfront, go with Harvest and Hearth.
