We stopped here on our way back home to Nashville from Pigeon Forge. My boyfriend is vegan and gluten free so we Googled restaurant options, we chose 71 South. It is in an interesting community that has a hippie commune vibe. The restaurant itself is in an old church which lent to the unique vibe. I had the black bean burger and sweet potato fries and my boyfriend had the Cowboy Fries with Brussel sprouts, cowboy caviar, etc. He thought it was delicious and I thought the sweet potato fries were the best I have had.

We were on a little birthday excursion when hunger hit hard. We stumbled upon this place by accident and I am SO GLAD we did!! I have a gluten allergy so the fact that they have a separate menu and gf v and vg markers is a huge bonus! The food was fantastic and service was excellent! I got the chicken bacon ranch on a gluten free bun and we split the Brussel sprouts.. fantastic, highly recommend!! My husband got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and loved it! Not so hot that he was uncomfortable but great heat and flavor!
