Allow me to introduce you to the newest player on the Middlebury sandwich scene, the 7 South Sandwich Company. They've been open a little over a month now and let me tell you they are cranking out some mighty fine sandwiches. The shop itself is small and simple, very bright and has a few tables to sit and eat on the premises. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. The menu is posted on a chalkboard and they offer a daily sandwich special and a soup du jour. They also do breakfast sandwiches. They have gluten free options if that's an issue. I had the Philly Cheesesteak and absolutely loved it. In my opinion this is the best cheesesteak sandwich in Middlebury but don't take my word for it, go and check it out for yourself and make up your own mind. You'll be glad you did. Looking forward to trying the other sandwiches offered.
