8 at Trinity

8 at Trinity is absolutely fantastic. Yes, it's pricy, but the entire experience is well worth the price. They have very good gluten free pasta options (I had the wagyu bolognese - I still think about it, it was so good) - but I haven't tried a pizza yet as I am unsure about the impact of cross contamination. The GF chocolate passionfruit cake was also amazing. My husband got a regular pizza and he loved it. Definitely somewhere we plan on going again for special events!

Booked for a birthday lunch and informed party was Coeliac. Checked menu before arrival for GF options. Ordered and asked the usual questions. Then was brought the GF menu which had at the top they 'Cannot cater for Coeliac's and no meals ate gluten free but are low gluten. All pasta is cooked in the same water as gluten items and other dishes and cross contaminated'. It would have been useful to be informed of that at booking or on the website. Lunch arrived and the GF meal had items from the fryer on it and had to be sent back. I was told the fryer had oil changed each night but risk was too high. The replacement meal they brought back out was much smaller than the one that I was first served. Had the barramundi which was ok. The menu should be better labelled online to make it clear meals are low gluten and not gluten free. The 'special menu' with warnings should be made available on the website to avoid a wasted trip. Gf contaminated and Low Gluten are not GF. Rest of the party who did not have dietary requirements enjoyed their meal. It is a pity the mislabeled menu was not accurate.
