A La Mode Dessert & Ice Cream

I have a big family and people judge so much in Connecticut, but not Southington, CT. All of my kids have allergies, and I have been accused of lying about it. All have been tested and verified. This was the first time my babies have been able to eat at a ice cream shop with cones and gluten free pop tarts and gluten free ice cream d sandwiches oh my!!!!. I miss Austin texas and Southington reminds me of that. I also love Paul Gregorys the owners sister has celiacs. Amazing food!!!

So happy we found A La Mode! We were able to have the most delicious wedding cake that both my and my husband could enjoy with our allergies. Could not recommend a better bakery if you have celiac/peanut tree nut allergies.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a very friendly welcome. The owner and staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The food? Absolutely delicious! You’d never know it was gluten-free — every bite was full of flavor and beautifully made. Highly recommend this spot to anyone, whether you're gluten-free or not!
