As a gluten free provider, this has been a ‘go to’ eatery for me for some time. I have always enjoyed their food, albeit expensive.
However, recently there have been two occasions which has left me reluctant to go back. The first was when my daughter was visiting with her 3 month old baby. We ordered $150 worth of pizza and pasta for extended family. We all walked 15 mins to get there to pick it up. However, by the time we got there, my grandson was distraught and we asked if we could sit out in the freezing cold to eat our pizzas on one of the many empty outdoor tables. We were abruptly refused by both the server and the elderly, crouched ‘gentleman’. I tried to explain why but was waved off with an irritated gruff, to leave.
The send occasion was when I came with my friend who was 20 weeks pregnant. I was so excited to share this venue with her. That quickly changed. My friend ordered pizza with prosciutto on top. Upon arrival, she noted that it hadn’t been cooked, rather added after cooking. It is well known that pregnant women should avoid uncooked cured meat. She politely asked if it could be returned to the oven for a short time. She was met with hostility from both the server and the same gentleman as mentioned earlier. She was made to feel stupid about how food is presented, and made her very upset. For that, I will not forgive A25! I’m assuming this older server is one of the owners, and all I can say, is that he is a complete turn off for dining there in future.
Take or leave this review as you wish. I for one, have had enough and have other choices.
