We went for a casual dinner with friends and really enjoyed ourselves. We ordered a mixed starter of arancini (or supplì), two carbonaras, one seafood pasta, and one lasagna. We also shared four desserts and a bottle of wine.
The experience was excellent – great food (truly satisfying even for Italians craving a proper pasta), a welcoming atmosphere, and warm hospitality. We were also able to bring our dog, who was immediately offered a bowl of water.
An important note: I have coeliac disease, and I was impressed by the variety of gluten-free options available – from short and long pasta to filled types. The gluten-free pasta was genuinely good: it held its shape and texture, and tasted almost indistinguishable from regular pasta.
It wasn’t our first time here, and it certainly won’t be the last!
