A Taste of Britain

Came to have a gluten free afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday! I didn't always used to be GF. I am a former pastry chef/chef who loves afternoon tea and I was excited to find a place to accommodate! Came today and it was so delicious. The bread was nice and spongy, the scones was great and the desserts were delicious. The apple and caramel pot de creme was really phenomenal. That beautiful melt in your mouth smoothness and the caramel was soft and creamy but had the wonderful taste of the top of a creme brulee. Everything was fantastic. Came from Delaware an hour away. We will be back!

Absolutely amazing experience. The food, tea, atmophere and service are all great. We always get full afternoon tea which comes with sandwiches, a scone and desserts. The gluten free sandwiches are amazing and some of the best gluten free bread I've ever had. Today we had Robin as our server and she was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She had great recommendations about the tea and great customer service. We will be coming back here at least once per season for sure.

Obsessed! They have so many gluten free options too! I had the full gluten free tea and it was so delicious I could barely finish it all. Such a great experience that I was able to adapt to my dietary needs.
