Mango beer is tasty. Enjoyed the lamb, lentils, and pumpkin. And injera is delicious, not too sour like some other places I've been. Service workers are kind and responsive. The atmosphere is very immersive. Another plus is that it's gluten free friendly. Definitely would come here again!

It is more related to the experience overall rather than the meal itself. The decor is cool, the people working there are wearing traditional costumes, they have a positive vibe, are funny and kind. When you are inside, it looks like you are not in Amsterdam anymore. The menu is divided by meat, fish, and vegetarian options. Your choice will be a topping that will be added on top of the Injera disk, and it is eaten with your hands. Injera is a traditional Ethiopian fermented spong bread made of teff flour, gluten-free, dairy free, and rich in protein. Its texture is between a pancake and a crepe. They have a menu of particular fruit beers, 3.6%, all of them are tasty, and I would advise banana and coconut. The food taste is not too much peculiar. It is simple. Do not expect to have a super gourmet experience, but for sure you can have fun there.
