Outstanding food, service, ambience. And the prices are extremely reasonable relative to other choices. The attentiveness of the staff rivals Michelin starred restaurants. The pasta was gluten free and fabulously delicious.

For dinner we ate the pappardelle with lamb ragu and the rigatoni bolognese. For dessert we ate the flourless chocolate cake. HEAVENLY! Service was a little slow but if we were in the mood for a more leisurely dinner we might not have noticed. Great gluten free options. Delicious flavors. Lovely ambiance, very romantic. We loved this place.

Where do I start? This place deserves 5 stars all around! I came in for lunch not expecting much for gluten-free... I was actually completely blown away. I ordered the arancini appetizer, which is fried in a separate fryer! Then I got the bolognese pasta with dry aged beef for my main. WOW! Just wow. Gluten-free casarecce pasta with the best beef ever... oh and I rarely eat beef! The wine list was very good with some esoteric varietals, along with the favorites. I'm honestly blown away that this place fid not come up on my searches for the "best gluten-free italian/pasta" in Chicago. The atmosphere is perfect and the jazz music adds to the romantic ambiance. 5 stars all around. Server was fantastic as well!
