Food:
Crabcake - too many ingredients. avocado and chili sauce overpower the crab. The meat was stringy and didn’t taste fresh and lacked seasoning on the cake.
Ciopinno - its fine if you’re going to charge $37 for a stew but make sure you don’t serve dead shellfish and fish bones in it! Aioli and gluten free bun was quite good.
Service: Restaurant was half full on sat night, early dinner service and everyone was in the weeds. Kitchen was on time but front of house staff wasn’t around! I watched hot food grow cold in the kitchen because none was delivering it, mine included. Perhaps if my crab cake had been served immediately, I would have enjoyed it. Hostess stand is in a strange place.
A few more of the mussels tasted off, let’s just say I’m not looking forward to the next few hours.
