If I could give six stars I would!
I absolutely loved my experience here. Not only is the view nice and the ambiance chic, but the wait staff are incredible and friendly and all of them seem to have vast knowledge about the menu.
All of the food is sourced fresh from New Zealand. Every dish they bring you, they tell you what everything on the plate is and where it was sourced. From the meat to the vegetables, they know the region of each ingredient.
The food was delicious. I had the Wallaby tartare, duck breast, and grilled pineapple with 🍍 parfait, chocolate, and sheep curd (to help cut the sweetness). Oddly enough, I'm not a huge chocolate or pineapple fan, but I found this dessert absolutely delicious.
I am celiac, and they were able to adjust pretty much all of the plates ( except for the cake ) to accommodate my allergy, so I more or less had access to the whole menu.
Each of my courses was timed perfectly, and the wait staff gave fantastic recommendations, frequently refilled my water glass, and even gave me advice as to the best way to reheat my leftovers. Shout-out to the waiter Emrich (I hope I spelled that right) for going above and beyond for all of his tables, despite it being very busy.
Would love to go back and highly recommend.
