Service was incredibly slow, and we had a confusing experience with the waitress. I have a gluten allergy so I was just going to go with a simple roll with no sauces but when I asked her if that would be ok she just said they have no gluten free menu, clearly had no knowledge of what gluten is. We ordered two very simple rolls and noted on the ticket that we wanted no sauce and there was a gluten allergy, but she mumbled something and wrote something else down on our ticket before rushing away. We then received only one roll and one plate of stir fry that nobody ordered... when I googled to figure out what the heck she gave us I found that the dish is made with wheat noodles. We couldn’t even figure out the issue because our server never checked up on us, leaving us waiting for 20-30 minutes at a time. When we called her over to ask what the stir fry was she looked at us like we were the crazy ones and told us the name, confirming that it was in fact made with wheat noodles when we already talked to her about having a completely gluten free order. By that point we just paid and left because we had already been there for almost two hours waiting for our waitress to check up on us/bring the food out. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry I normally have a lot of empathy for waitstaff but this was the most frustrating dining experience of my life.
