Do not come here if you have an allergy. I am not picky when it comes to food but I very clearly stated that I had a gluten allergy and within 5 minutes I was extremely sick. The waiter made it seem like it was my fault and denied any chance of cross contamination, even though I was actively getting sick. I was offered my plate for free afterwards which was kind, and I apologize to much of the wait staff that was friendly, it was a very busy night and I understand it was stressful but this was not an enjoyable dining experience nonetheless.

Dined this past Monday evening with a friend who was in Vancouver for business. To say the least, it was an embarrassment that I suggested going here. Caesar salad for $17 tasted like a salad you’d get at a food court. We were told there were anchovies, but no hint was discernible except one bite that tasted like rotten fish. Pastas are $30 and up, which would make one think they’d be made with fresh pasta and homemade sauces. Bolognese tasted like something out of a jar, and was dry..the gluten free pasta was nasty. The ricotta and spinach cannelloni for $30 was barely stuffed and had an odd flavour. The tubes were overcooked and wet. It got sent back. The restroom area smelled of sewer back-up which was less than appetizing. Server was sweet and friendly, but ill prepared to deal with complaints. 1/2 litre of wine, one salad, and one pasta bolognese was just over$100 with tip. The cannelloni was removed from the bill, but I had no interest in trying anything else. Have dined here pre pandemic a few times, and had good experiences. Not sure who operates it now, but in my opinion, they have no business running a higher end (based on prices) Italian Restaurant in Vancouver. So many way better options for sure.
