Italian cuisine was unfamiliar to me, but the chef gave me great recommendations and detailed explanations. The language barrier was a bit difficult to understand, but I was so grateful that he explained everything slowly and thoroughly so I could understand. His Instagram ID is also written large on the wall, so please refer to it when ordering! The bread I ordered as a starter was absolutely delicious. The bread was warm, crispy, and soft, and the ricotta cheese on top was cold, creamy, and rich, creating a wonderful harmony. The purée-like substance that topped it all off wasn't too sweet, just the right amount. I highly recommend it! The pasta and risotto were delicious and not too salty. The pasta was even more refreshing because it was gluten-free. The risotto was cooked just right, giving it a nice texture, and the mussels and potatoes blended beautifully with the other ingredients. We had it with sparkling water, but I'd love to try it with beer next time.

My gf and I went and it was fabulous. We got the set menu and as a celiac, it was tremendous. For $55, the set menu is definitely worth the money, and they don’t even charge extra for gluten free pasta. The staff were welcoming and friendly, providing excellent service, to which a 20% tip felt justified.

Best Italian food in Sydney! I was taken back to my travels in southern Italy, and the food is definitely authentic to the area. You can also swap out your pasta for gluten-free pasta, and they have a great selection for vegetarians and vegans. I highly recommend this place!
