I rate Aldos Italian Kitchen 5+. I needed a restaurant to have a post cemetery family gathering for over 50 people on Saturday, 5/23/25 from 2:00 to 4:30. I live in Florida and the burial was in Alexandria, Virginia and was less than 3 weeks away. I read reviews and talked to several restaurant possibilities close to the cemetery for 30-35 people. I decided on Aldos Italian Kitchen based on reviews and conversations with the owner, Emanuele Cognetti. The Restaurant does not open until 4:00 on Saturdays so Emanuele could fit us in. As the date for the event came closer, the number of attendees grew to over 50 people and Emanuele was able to accommodate all, and the food was superb with impeccable service for the entire time. Emanuele was even able to adapt a few special requests for gluten free dishes once the group gathered. His staff was helpful with serving the buffet style setup which included 2 entrees, salad, rolls and great pizza. They served beer wine and soft drinks to all upon request and always with smiling faces. Aldos made this sad occasion into a comfortable family get together “A Celebration of Life”. The restaurant was classic Italian style with plenty of room for all and the price was very reasonable. If you live in the area, you must visit Aldos Italian Kitchen and I am sure once you do, it will be a regular on your restaurant visits in the future. – Robert Hofman
