A real shame. Despite the expectations, the service was very poor and the long-awaited fettuccine with butter was overcooked (!!). The information on the kitchen closing was incorrect (first 10pm, then 10.30pm) but above all serious errors in the menu description. The reservation can only be made on the website and by choosing one of the available menus; honestly a great inconvenience and the first time it has happened to me in a non-starred restaurant in Rome. At our table there was a person with celiac disease and, although it was written that the scallops had no traces of gluten, we realized - only after eating half the dish - that traces of flour could instead be found. A very dangerous mistake which fortunately caused no consequences but which could have caused even serious damage to one's health. We only realize it because the waiter suddenly "snatches" the plate from the celiac diner, without warning, apologizing - later - with very implausible justifications ("the menu had recently been printed"). Communication errors are not acceptable in these cases and for restaurants that boast a certain history. As a final piece of advice, I would remove the "show" of mixing the butter for the fettuccine - perhaps a little too set up for social networks - and pay more attention to the quality of the plating and the service. The price per diner (after removing the scallops and a 10% discount on the total for the inconvenience), was 50 euros per person. Despite the discount, terrible quality/price ratio. If not for the history, of which the photos hanging on the walls are a testimony, I can't find a real motivation to return. Simplicity is everything.
