Alla Cantoniera da Eva e Filippo

Last Saturday my sister and I (celiac like me) celebrated our parents' anniversary in a restaurant with a breathtaking view, Alla cantoniera da Eva e Filippo. Eva has celiac disease, as does her daughter. The entire menu is completely gluten-free. For those who don't have these needs there is also pasta with gluten. The place is very popular, especially among locals because you don't exactly walk past it. The whole menu is tasty, I would have ordered a portion and everything... I had the paccheri with octopus ragout which were out of this world. For the first time in my life I also tasted everything that was ordered at my table, everything was delicious! It is perfectly clear that they cook gluten-free out of necessity and with love, and not to reach a wider clientele. The restaurant is family run, everyone is very kind and always has a smile on their faces. I can't wait to return to Porto Santo Stefano to eat in this wonderful place again!

Having been a customer for years now, I am very happy to go to this restaurant both for the wonderful view and for the delicious dishes, which are also gluten-free, which for us celiacs in the Porto Santo Stefano area do not have. Friendly and helpful staff, the prices are a little above average but the place and the view are worth it. Beautiful for both lunch and dinner, but towards sunset there is a magical atmosphere.
