Allan Scott Bistro

Alan Scott was our first stop in the Marlborough wine region and the meal did not disappoint. We started with the clams, which came in an Asian curry broth and then moved on to the soft shell crab, which was sensational. The beef was ok, but not as good as the amazing seafood options. Plenty of well priced wines by the glass, superb desserts, and an excellent selection of options for people needing a gluten free meal. The setting is superb, a nice sheltered courtyard inside a lovely building. Lovely bathrooms and plenty of free parking right out front. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and excellent right up until the end when our tea and coffee disappeared.
