We went to eat, and asked for a gluten free dish for a friend. And less than one hour after eating she felt very sick. So no good measures were taken, we don't know if the sauce had gluten or, they did it wrong and served non gluten free pasta (as stated in the menu) For the rest of plates, food was ok.

Went with a special friend during the Napa Lighted Art Festival and always love the ambience of the place. We arrived around 5:30 Pm and downtown Napa was crowed - likely becuase of the Festival. We were seated promptly and the wait staff quickly brought to the table water, warm bread and a roasted onion/tomato tapenade. They informed us of their specials. We ordered the beef carpaccio; which was nice but had little additional dressing to the argula greens that were piled on top. I opted to try the Swordfish entree and my companion asked for the pappardelle pasta entree dish gluten free. We were told it was. We brought a nice bottle of Pinot Wine and was shocked at their $25.00 corkage fee policy even for LOCALS (and I am a LOCAL) The Swordfish was delightful and I asked for it to be served on extra sauteed spinach Vs mash potatoes. No Problem. However it turns out when the pappardelle dish came - it WASN'T a pappardelle ribbonlike pasta noodle. It was a Ziti pasta noodle and when we pointed that out we were were told it was not made in house. We were told; the pappardelle pasta IS house made but IS NOT gluten free. Certainly a bit of a mix up and disappointing. All in all the place is a nice venue - I'd just wish they would give some break to locals on their excessive corkage fees.
